When making payments on Ethereum or Bitcoin, "gas" fees can occasionally spike during high-traffic periods. Network gas fees are a separate fee from Spritz fees, and go to the blockchain network that you use to make a transaction.

If the fees are high when you try to make a transaction, try bridging to another network like Polygon to make a payment there. You can also try the transaction again in a few hours and gas fees may have gone down.
