Fee Calculator

With the in-app Spritz fee calculator, you can quickly verify what your transaction will cost without the hassle!

1. How are fees calculated?

Fees at Spritz are charged only when you make a crypto transaction.

  • For crypto to fiat transactions see section 2

  • For fiat to crypto transactions see section 3

There are no fees to spend on your SpritzCard or to maintain your Spritz account!

Fees for each transaction are calculated using two parts:

  1. % of your transaction amount, and

  2. Minimum per-transaction fee amount

These values depend on several factors related to your transaction:

  • The feature you are using (e.g. RapidPay offramp to bank, bill payment)

  • The token (e.g. USDC, ETH) and blockchain (e.g. Polygon, Bitcoin) used

  • The size of the transaction (regular, large, or super)

Once you find the values for your particular transaction, the actual fee will be the minimum of either

(A) % fee multiplied by transaction amount, or

(B) minimum fee value

2. Crypto ➡️ Fiat

The base fee for crypto to fiat transactions is 0.5% with a minimum fee of $2

Based on the (3) factors [feature used, token & blockchain, and transaction size] you can calculate the transaction fee by:

  1. Add up any base fee adjustments from the following tables and add to the 0.5% crypto to fiat base fee = transaction base fee

  2. Adjust the minimum fee to the greater of the base minimum fee and any relevant values in the following table = transaction minimum fee

  3. Calculate the transaction fee by multiplying the transaction amount by the transaction base fee, and take the maximum value of this result and the transaction minimum fee.

See a calculated example below.

Fee adjustments by transaction volume

The following adjustments to the base fee and the minimum are made depending on the size of the transaction.

Volume (size) of transaction

Large ( >$20,000 and ≤$100,000)

+0.5%

Super (>$100,000)

Examples

(1) $2,000 USDC on Base used to ACH to bank account

Base fee adjustments

  • Base USDC: none

  • ACH to bank: none

  • Size: none

Transaction base fee = 0.5% (base fee)

Transaction minimum fee = $2

Transaction fee = max ($2, 0.5% * $2,000) = $10

(2) $1,500 WETH token on Arbitrum network used to pay a credit card bill

Base fee adjustments

  • Arbitrum non-USDC: +0.5%

  • Bill pay: +0.5% (minimum $4)

  • Size: No adjustment

Transaction base fee = 0.5% (base fee) + 0.5% + 0.5% = 1.5%

Transaction minimum fee = $4

Transaction fee = max ($4, 1.5% * $1,500) = $22.50

3. Fiat ➡️ Crypto

"On-ramp" or "Buy crypto"

Fiat to crypto transactions receive a 1% fee, with no minimum fee value
