How to buy crypto with a linked bank account (US)

Link your US bank account through Plaid and let Spritz pull the funds, no manual transfer needed.

Written by Spritz Resolution Team

A linked bank account is the simplest way to buy crypto on the Spritz US on-ramp. Instead of sending a manual transfer, you connect your US bank account once and authorize Spritz to pull the funds for you. Your USDC is delivered to your wallet as soon as the transfer settles.

How it works

In the Spritz app:

  1. Go to the Buy Crypto tab.

  2. Enter the amount you want to buy.

  3. Choose Linked Bank as your payment method.

  4. Connect your bank account securely through Plaid.

  5. Review the confirmation screen, which shows the exact amount that will be debited from your account.

  6. Accept the terms to authorize the transfer.

Spritz then initiates the bank transfer on your behalf. Once it settles, your USDC arrives in your wallet automatically.

When you'll receive your crypto

Bank transfers settle in about 2 business days. Your USDC is delivered as soon as the transfer settles, so most purchases complete within roughly 3 days of authorizing them.

This method uses standard ACH. Same-day and instant deposits are not available for linked bank purchases.

How much you can deposit

You can buy crypto with a linked bank account starting at $10 per transaction.

Per-transaction limits begin at $500 and increase up to $5,000 as you build a history of successful purchases. You can deposit up to $10,000 per day and up to $25,000 per month.

Good to know

Linked bank accounts are available to eligible Spritz users in the US. The account you link must be in your own name, and you connect it securely through Plaid; manually entered bank details are not supported for this method.

You can have one bank transfer in progress at a time. Wait for it to settle before starting another purchase with the same account.

Purchases made with a linked bank account are delivered as USDC.

If your bank cannot be linked, or the account name does not match your Spritz profile, link a different account in your own name and try again.

If you would rather send a manual bank transfer or wire, you can find the steps in How to use the Spritz US On-Ramp.
